There were four gas stations in cities across Windham County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.89 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 25, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within Windham County was $3.01 per gallon.
Of the 38 reported gas stations in cities within Windham County, 17 offer regular gas.
The $3.12 average reported price of regular gas in Vermont was unchanged from the previous week.
Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
