Meet #UVM student Sarah Bassett, a rising senior and early education major in College of Education and Social Services at UVM. Sarah has been at Greater Burlington YMCA for over two years as a teacher associate working with toddlers and preschoolers. The work Sarah has done at the Y has allowed her to open doors in the field and make long-lasting connections.
“Working at the Y Early Childhood Program has helped to put what I learn at UVM into practice every day and be supported in my growth as a teacher. I have formed meaningful relationships with professionals in the field, mentors, and children and families.”
