Norwich Alumni Christine Conway not only made NU history by becoming part of the inaugural class of female cadets in 1974 but by 1979, Conway was the highest-ranking female cadet on campus.

Norwich University would like to celebrate Women’s History Month today by recognizing the curve-setting legacy of Christine Conway.

Her example of excellence became the shoulder upon which generations of Norwich female cadets now stand. Join me today as we celebrate the life and legacy of former Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Christine M. Conway.
