On Thursday, March 20, former Vermont Academy standout Bangaly Berete’s current collegiate team the Trinity Bantams won 73-69 against the Wesleyan Cardinals in the NCAA Division III Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, this was the first game against the Wesleyan Cardinals during the championship.
The Trinity Bantams’ next game will take place on Saturday, March 22 at 4 p.m. in Allen County War Memorial Coliseum against NYU Violets.
Bangaly Berete’s hometown is Hartsdale and game positions are forward and guard.
