Slate Valley Trails issued the following announcement on March 24.
Join us on Saturday April 9 at 9am at the Fairgrounds trailhead to help us prepare the trails for our spring opening! No experience necessary - volunteers will be assigned to small groups with a leader. Work may include raking, moving sticks/debris, lopping, leaf blowing, etc.
Bring water and gloves and a rake, snippers or loppers if you have them (not required; we have tools to share). Join us for some pizza at the trailhead afterward to celebrate our efforts.
