CANDIDATE FORUMS: The League of Women Voters of Vermont will be sponsoring two candidate forums in our region in the upcoming weeks:
- Lieutenant Governor Candidate Forum, featuring Joe Benning & David Zuckerman, on Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, Main Street. The moderator will be Tom McKone, former executive director of the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier.

- Attorney General Candidate Forum, featuring Charity Clark and Michael Tagliavia, on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, Main Street. Cary Brown, executive director of the Vermont Commission on Women, will serve as moderator.
