Two years ago today, I lost a dear friend and my co-worker of 22 years to cancer. Jenn Garand was only 42 at the time of her passing and there hasn't been a day that her husband, Derek Garand, her family and the many others of us who so loved her don't miss her like hell. She was professional but hilarious, detailed but could see the big picture, was shy but when she talked, people really listened. She had a big heart and was a tremendous advocate for animals. To quote a friend, "Jenn was quietly exceptional." She is so missed.
