This year, many Vermonters are seeking community-based resources for the first time ever, due to the high cost of groceries and gas, lack of suitable housing, mental health challenges, substance use disorder and many other reasons.
In this video, United Way board members Virginie Diambou of CVOEO, Sarah Russell, special assistant to end homelessness for the City of Burlington, and United Way Working Bridges Director Connie Beal talk about the importance of helping community members meet basic needs like housing, food and transportation.
Together, we can create a Northwest Vermont where everyone has access to basic needs.
