Norwich University is pleased to announce the appointment of LTG (R) Mark Bowman to its Board of Trustees. Bowman will serve as a member of the Technology Committee and the Enrollment, Retention, Marketing (ERM) Committee of the Board. Following the appointment of Bowman, the Board will comprise 32 trustees, 23 of whom are Norwich University graduates.
Bowman, 66, holds the distinction of serving in our Army for more than 37 years where he oversaw IT, communications and cyber at all levels. In his final assignment, he served as the Director of Command, Control, Communications and Computers/Cyber for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Pentagon. Prior to his tenure on the Joint Staff, Bowman served as the Director of Architecture, Operations, Networks, and Space within the Office of the Chief Information Officer/G6, Army, Pentagon.
