Vermont State Labor Council AFL-CIO issued the following announcement.

Thousands of Vermonters demonstrate for a womans right to control her own body – Womens rights are workers rights!

The Vermont AFL-CIO applauds the 3000+ Vermonters who demonstrated in Montpelier yesterday against the federal roll back of a woman’s right to control her own body.  The demonstration in our State Capital was one of hundreds of rallies taking place around the U.S. also on May 14.  Now is the time to enshrine the right to an abortion in the Vermont Constitution!
