United Way’s Mental Health Initiative is proud to be a co-sponsor for Mental Health Advocacy Day on Monday, January 30, 2023 with the theme: Mental Health Starts with YOUth!

Organized by our community partners, NAMI Vermont, Vermont Care Partners, The Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery, this virtual event will feature a welcome address from state leaders including Governor Scott and a keynote presentation from Miss Vermont 2022, Alexina Federhen. Community members will share their mental health stories to demonstrate the importance of mental health care to our legislators.

Addressing the acute rise in youth mental health needs is a key priority for the Mental Health Initiative. We hope you can join us for this important day of advocacy!
