VERMONT AFL-CIO SALUTES THOSE WHO SERVED ON THIS VETERAN’S DAY

The Vermont AFL-CIO salutes those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces on this Veteran’s Day.  We would like to especially recognize those still among us from the Greatest Generation who fought with arms against the Nazis in World War II.  Your sacrifices in the cause of anti-fascism is a debt that can never be repaid.  May we today take heart by your example, and never again allow fascists to wield power.
