Vermont State Labor Council AFL-CIO issued the following announcement on April 1.

VT AFL-CIO GAINS FOUR NEW AFFILIATES – UNITED! WE ARE STRONG
Last week, the Vermont AFL-CIO welcomed two new Local affiliates, SAG-AFTRA New England (VT Actors, Voice Talent, Digital Marketing and More) and CWA Local 81255 (General Dynamics). This is in addition to several other affiliates who have joined us by signing a Solidarity Charter over the last couple of years, including SEIU Local 200 United (Champlain College & Bennington College) and UBC Local 352 (Carpenters).
Working people are stronger together. By joining our Labor Council, we can better practice our shared values of solidarity and union democracy. Furthermore, we can show Vermont that our Labor Movement is growing and united!
So we welcome our new affiliates and look forward to growing the Vermont AFL-CIO in the year to come.
United!
